Some quilts are made to be used. This one was made to be remembered.

The Visions of Montana Stained Glass Bear is a museum-worthy art quilt that stops people in their tracks. A majestic mama grizzly and her two cubs gaze out from within a glowing stained-glass arch — mountains rising behind them, wildflowers blooming at their feet, and a radiant sunburst sky overhead. The entire scene is rendered in thousands of pieces of vibrant, jewel-toned fabric that mimic the luminous depth of cathedral stained glass.

Surrounding the central panel, a dramatic black border is alive with intricate free-motion quilting — bear paw prints, pine trees, swirling scrollwork, and the words "Big Sky Country" stitched in teal thread, a love letter to Montana worked right into the quilt itself. The border blocks feature kaleidoscopic stained-glass diamonds and floral appliqué squares that frame the whole composition in color and light.
